Over One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars In Alcohol Sales At MU Football Game

Over one hundred and fifty thousand dollars of alcohol sales collected after the first MU home football game.

According to a spokesperson for the MU athletics department the amount of gross sales for week 1 was one hundred fifty seven thousand dollars.

The University announced last month that it would sell beer and wine during football games at Faurot Field.

According to a spokesperson for the MU Police Department the weekend went without incident with 51,215 people in attendance on Saturday.

The University has yet to announced whether it will sell alcohol at basketball, softball or baseball games.
