Lower Gas Prices At The Pumps In Mid-Missouri

Travelers in the listening area are seeing lower gas prices at the pumps as the weekend arrives.

Some of the lowest prices in Centralia with a $1.91 per gallon average.

Mexico is checking in at a $2.03 per gallon average.

Fulton and Kingdom City at a $2.08 average.

According to GasBuddy.com the main reason for the low prices are due to the nation’s oil boom.

The United States produces so much oil that it exported more than it imported in September last year, the first month that has happened in recorded history.
