Charges Filed in Matt Beauchamp Case

An arrest in the Matt Beauchamp case is being reported.

According to a press release from Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism, 39 year old Timothy Sullins of Raymondville in Texas County, Missouri has been charged with felony abandonment of a corpse.

An investigation into Beauchamp’s disappearance was started by the Audrain County Sheriff’s Department on April 16th of last year after family members reported that Beauchamp had not been in contact with family since September of 2018.

Beauchamp’s remains were found near Mokane on December 21, 2019.

Investigation revealed that Beauchamp likely died of a drug overdose in September of 2018 at a residence in HHam’s Prairie.

When his body was discovered by others at the residence, his body was taken to the location where his remains were found.

Another party that was involved in the transport and abandonment of Beauchamp is now deceased.

Sullins poted a $25,000 bond in Texas County and has a court date in Callaway County on May 15th.
