New Principle Named At Hawthorne Elementary School In Mexico

A new principal at Hawthorne Elementary School is being named by the Mexico Board of Education.

Alison Evans will take over the role from Melissa Chastain, who has served as the building leader for 5 years and was recently named Assistant Superintendent of Mexico Schools.

Mrs. Evans is currently an elementary principal for Hannibal Public Schools in Mark Twain.

Mrs. Evans will officially take over her new role on July 1st.
