Monroe County Attempted Kidnapping

A New Hampshire woman is behind bars, charged with attempted child kidnapping.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 20 year old Erica I. Johnson of Seabrook, New Hampshire, traveled to Monroe County on April 25th to meet an 11 year old juvenile Johnson had been having conversations with online for 4 months.

The investigation determined that Johnson’s goal was to leave Monroe County with the juvenile, but was not successful.

She was arrested Monday by the New Hampshire State Police and is in jail on a $50,000 cash only bond and is awaiting extradition back to Missouri.
