Columbia Police Investigating Fatal Crash Involving Pedestrian

Columbia Police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian on Saturday.

According to the accident report it happened near Providence Road when a pedestrian was walking west in the driving lane of I-70.

The pedestrian was hit by 2 separate vehicles and was pronounced dead on-scene.

The identity of the person who died is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
