Audrain County Commission Reports Successful Distribution of Close to Three Million Dollars in CARES Funding

Almost three million dollars in CARES Act funding is now distributed in Audrain County.

The Audrain County Commission made the announcement today that they have successfully distributed the $2,978,519 in CARES funding they received in May, 2020 to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 through out the county.

Breaking down the totals $923,818.54 went to emergency, health and safety.

$355,057.93 went to protective equipment.

$661,312.31 went to assistance to business.

And $256,502.00 went to non-profit assistance.

In total the Audrain County Commission received 257 applications from businesses, non-profits and government service providers.
