One Arrest Made and Two Juveniles Detained in Columbia Shooting Incident

All suspects are believed to be in police custody after a shots fired incident in downtown Columbia yesterday (Thursday) morning.

According to a news release it started when an officer tried to pull over a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of Melbourne Street and Hodge Street and the car fled and eventually crashed.

Officers said suspects fired shots in their direction and then fled on foot.

18 year old Anthony Stapleton of Columbia was arrested and 2 juveniles were detained.
