The Mexico Bulldogs Boys and Girls Basketball Teams are scheduled to face the Marshall Owls on the road tonight (Friday).

The varsity girls are set to tip at 5pm with the boys to follow around 6:15.

The Community R6 Lady Trojans defeated New Franklin 50-31 on the road last night (Thursday).

With the win the Lady Trojans improved to 19-1 on the season.

Mizzou Women’s Basketball fell to top ranked South Carolina 77-62 on the road last night (Thursday).

Mizzou and South Carolina were tied at 36 at halftime before the Gamecocks outscored the Tigers 41-26, in the game’s final 2 quarters.

Up next Mizzou returns home to face 25th ranked Georgia on Sunday.

The St. Louis Cardinals announced yesterday that the 27 non-roster invitees will be taken down to Spring Training in Jupiter, Florida.

All 38 members of the 40-man roster automatically receive an invite, meaning the Cardinals will be carrying 65 players down to Florida.

Headlining the group are infielder Nolan Gorman, left-hander Matthew Liberatore, and first baseman Luken Baker.

Pitchers and catchers report to Jupiter next week on Wednesday, with full-squad workouts set to start on February 22nd.
