Mexico Man Arrested Accused of Attempted Carjacking

A Mexico man is facing charges of stealing after being arrested for an attempted car jacking early Saturday morning.

According to Mexico Public Safety it happened in the 800 block of West Monroe when 26 year old Dillon QW Mills got into a car, which had been left running and unlocked while the driver and a passenger went into a business.

According to another passenger who was still in the car, Mills tried taking the car and all 3 occupants attempted to stop him.

Mills is said to have struggled with them before hiding nearby, and eventually being arrested without incident.

He was taken to the Audrain County Jail.

Public Safety says no one involved required medical attention for their injuries.
