Montgomery County Sheriff Dispels Myth Regarding Wellsville Police Department

Montgomery County Sheriff Craig Allison is dispelling myths circulating on social media that his department is planning to take over the Wellsville Police Department.

Sheriff Allison says that his department has hired two now former Wellsville officers for one reason.

Allison says the sheriff’s department will still respond to assist Wellsville PD and handle calls for the agency when no Wellsville officer is on duty.
