Boonville Middle School Student the Victim of a Hit and Run

A Boonville Middle School student is in stable condition after being the victim of a hit and run by a vehicle Wednesday morning.

According to Boonville Police it happened around 7:30am in the 400 block of Ashley Road and it is assumed the child was walking to school when hit.

The shared with the school the child is in stable condition.

A suspect was arrested and charges are still pending.
