Two Injured in Audrain County Accident on MO 19 at US 54

A Wisconsin man has serious injuries and a Vandalia woman has minor injuries following a 2 car accident in Audrain County yesterday morning (Tuesday).

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened around 11:20 yesterday morning at MO 19 at US 54.

A vehicle driven by 80 year old Jerome A. Woelfel of Chilton, Wisconsin was hit in the right side by a vehicle driven by 56 year old Karen L. Tyler of Vandalia.

Woelfel’s vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top on the northbound shoulder of MO 19.

Both were taken to the Audrain Community Hospital for treatment.
