Van-Far Schools Hire New Transportation Director

A Former Van-Far student is returning, this time as the new Transportation Director.

According to a social media post from the district, the Board of Education last night (Thursday) approved hiring William (Bill) Allen for the position.

Allen has been a Pike County Commissioner, Audrain County Road & Bridge Superintendent, Pike County Road Superintendent and a MoDOT supervisor.

He begins the new position September 10th.
