Lynlee Renick Trial: Day 2
Day two of the Lynlee Renick murder trial underway in Boone County focuses on crime scene evidence and phone records from Lynlee’s phone.
Missouri State Highway Patrol investigators testified to recovering four or five shell casings out of eight gun shots at the scene as well as the fact that Lynlee willingly submitted to a gunshot residue test on her hands.
Lynlee’s phone records had been analyzed for the months leading up to Benjamin Renick’s death and included text messages between her and Benjamin discussing their marital and financial difficulties as well as a text from Lynlee to Michael Humphrey the day of Benjamin’s killing asking him if he was on his way.
