KWWR Sports Report 1/14/22
The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team will put their undefeated record on the line tonight (Friday) when they play the Hickman Kewpies on the road.
The Bulldogs have started the season off at 10-0.
The Kewpies are 9-4.
Tipoff is set at 7:30.
The Mexico Lady Bulldogs lost 63-55 to the Hallsville Indians on the road last night (Thursday).
Riley Thurman scored 22 points for the Lady Bulldogs, Jordyn Thurman had 11 points, Mya Miller with 10 points, and Taylor Demint and Claire Hudson had 4 points each respectively.
The Mexico girls get ready to play in the Macon Tournament next on Monday night at 6 against Harrisburg.
The Mexico boys and girls wrestling teams went undefeated on the road last night (Thursday) at Osage.

The Missouri Tigers women’s basketball team lost 87-85 in overtime to LSU on the road last night (Thursday).
Mizzou is now 13-4 overall and 2-2 in the SEC.
The Mizzou women return home on Monday to host Georgia.
Missouri Tigers football secondary coach Aaron Fletcher is resigning.
According to ESPN Fletcher is leaving Mizzou for Arizona State where he will coach the defensive backs.
Fletcher’s departure comes just a week after Mizzou’s other DB’s coach, Charlie Harbison, took a non-coaching role in order to have more flexibility to tend to a family issue in North Carolina.
Mizzou football now has 2 on-field assistant coach openings.
The St. Louis Blues extended their home point streak to 13 games with a come-from-behind 2-1 win against the Seattle Kraken last night (Thursday) at the Enterprise Center.
The Blues scored twice in the third period, and Ville Husso made 31 saves for the Blues.
