Mexico Bulldogs Boys and Girls Basketball Teams Victorious In Round One of Macon Tournament
The Mexico Bulldogs boys and girls basketball teams each picked up victories in round one of the Macon Tournament tonight (Monday).

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs defeated the Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs 49-29.
Mexico was outscored 9-2 in the first quarter and took a one point lead into halftime.
Riley Thurman had another great game for Mexico leading all scorers with 20 points.
Freshman Claire Hudson also got into double digits with 15 points.
The Mexico girls improved to 10-2 on the season and will play Kirksville on Wednesday night at 6pm, with the winner advancing to play for first place on Saturday.

The Mexico Bulldogs boys are 12-0 after handling Marceline 75-31 in their round one win.
The Mexico defense held Marceline to just 5 points in the second quarter, 5 points in the third quarter and 5 points in the 4th quarter.
Michael White led the way with 16 points, Isaiah Reams finished with 13 points, and Daeye Miller put up 13 points.
The Mexico boys will play again on Wednesday at 7:30pm against the Macon Tigers with the winner advancing to play for the championship of the Macon Tournament on Saturday.
