Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team Showcases Defensive Gem Against Pattonville In Ramey Shootout
The Class 4 Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team took down the Class 6 Pattonville Pirates 55-28 in the Ramey Midwest Showdown Shootout at the Harrisburg High School tonight (Saturday).
The Bulldogs defense held Pattonville to just 13 first half points and only 15 second half points.
Michael White was tasked with defending Kellen Thames who averages 23 points per game for the Pirates this season.
Thames was held to seven points.
Isaiah Reams led the Bulldogs offensively and was the leading scorer in the game with 19 points.
Daeye Miller and Jordan Shelton finished with 9 points each respectively, Michael White recorded 6 points, DJ Long put up 6 points, Dominic McKeown had 2 points, and Peyton Willer rounded out the Mexico scorebook with 1 point.
Mexico improved to 17-0 on the season.
Up next Mexico travels to Marshall on Monday, February 7th for a North Central Missouri Conference game.
