Boone County Home Damaged By Fire
A Boone County home receives 1.6 million dollars in damage in a Saturday morning fire according to the Boone County Fire Protection District.
In a social media post from the agency, they say they were called to the fire in the 10000 block of East Greenfield Road south of Centralia at 1:21 and found a home fully invlolved.
All occupants escaped uninjured and several pets were found outside.
The cause of the fire is undetermined but based on investigation and homeowner information is thought to have started on the back side of the attached garage on the back deck and quickly moved inside the home.
