Former Student Files Suit Against Missouri Military Academy
A former student of Missouri Military Academy in Mexico is suing the school.
According to KTVO, the former cadet claims that he attempted suicide after repeated attacks at the school.
The suit alleges that other students attacked the plaintiff between 2018 and 2021 and that while staff was aware of the attacks, did nothing to stop them.
President Richard Geraci told KTVO in a statement that the allegations are wholly unfounded and the school’s first priority is student safety and well-being.
The suit was filed in Audrain County Circuit Court on Monday according to online court records.
The plaintiff is being represented by a St. Louis law firm.
