New Florence Interchange Work Lane Closures Needed In Early January
Continued work on the Highway 19 / Interstate 70 interchange will require lane closures in the next two weeks.
Next week, beginning Tuesday, I-70 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between mile markers 174 and 176 while barrier wall construction is done.
All ramps at Highway 19 will remain open during the work.
That work will be done between 8:00pm and 5:30am.
Beginning the following Monday, January 9th, Highway 19 will be reduced to one lane just south of I-70 for temporary pavement widening.
That work will also be done between 8:00pm and 5:30am with flaggers in place to direct traffic.
Ramps at the interchange and access to the outer road will remain open during that work.
