Callaway a Top Harvest County During Missouri’s 2023 Spring Turkey Season
Preliminary numbers from the Missouri Department of Conservation show Callaway as a top harvest county during Missouri’s 2023 spring turkey season.
Franklin County was the top county with 973.
Callaway came in second with turkey hunters checking 801 birds.
Audrain County had a total of 162.
Boone with 557.
And Montgomery County checked in with 430.
Statewide turkey hunters checked 41,970 birds during the season which ran April 17th through May 7th.
