KWWR Sports Report 8/3/23
The St. Louis Cardinals pulled even in their three game series with a 7 to 3 victory over the Minnesota Twins at Busch Stadium last night (Wednesday).
The Cardinals offense cranked out four home runs.
The power was provided by Jordan Walker, Alec Burleson, Tyler O’Neill, and Lars Nootbaar.
Redbirds starting pitcher Dakota Hudson did not allow a hit until the sixth inning and picked up his second win of the season.
The Kansas City Royals shut out the New York Mets 4-0 at the K.
Kansas City picked up their fifth consecutive victory, extending their longest winning streak in more than two years.
