Macon County Vehicle Accident Leaves One Man Dead
A truck driver is dead following an accident in Macon County during the morning hours of Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report it happened on MO 156, three miles east of LaPlata.
A 2023 Freightliner driven by a 61-year-old man from Golden Valley, Arizona ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the road and overturned.
The man was pronounced deceased by the Macon County Coroner.
