A Mexico man is facing several charges after an arrest yesterday (Sunday) involving hitting a parked car.
According to Mexico Public Safety 41 year old Luke K. Picton was turning onto Vine Street from the 1200 Block of North Jefferson and hit a parked vehicle.
The accident report from Mexico Public Safety states that Picton said he was on his phone not paying attention and he punched the gas and did not realize the parked car was not moving.
Picton was arrested for DWI a prior offender and Careless and Imprudent Driving in an accident.
No injuries were reported.
