The Holts Summit Police Department will be expanding their coverage to help New Bloomfield.
The Holts Summit Board of Alderman voted to approve their police department to cover New Bloomfield at their meeting last (Thursday) night.
New Bloomfield had been without a police department for about 2 months.
The patrolling is expected to begin in mid June.
