A Boone County K9 is dead after unexpectedly collapsing during a training exercise yesterday (Wednesday).
K9 Baron had served the Boone County Sheriff’s Department for the past six years with his handler Deputy Chris Smith.
Baron died yesterday (Wednesday) a short time after collapsing during a controlled training exercise.
