Homicide Investigation in Columbia After Shooting on Rice Road

A homicide investigation is underway in Columbia after a shooting overnight on Rice Road.

Columbia Police were called to the area of Rice Road and Ballenger Lane around midnight and found a victim with a gunshot wound who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police do not have a suspect description at this time.
