Electronic Cigarette Cause Of Boone County House Fire

A charger for an electronic cigarette charger is to blame for an early morning fire at a Boone County home.

According to the Boone County Fire Protection District damages are estimated around one hundred thousand dollars at a duplex on Country Squire Court north of Columbia.

No one was injured and firefighters rescued a dog from the home.
