Wentzville Man Pleads Guilty to Impersonating FBI Special Agent In Federal Court

Sentencing is now set for a Wentzville man who is pleading guilty to impersonating an FBI special agent.

According to court documents 45 year old Mark Van Ronzelen pleaded guilty in federal court yesterday (Tuesday).

Van Ronzelen is accused of falsely representing that he was a Federal agent to an off duty Wentzville Police Officer.

During a search of his house, investigators recovered various fraudulent press and law enforcement credentials, including White House Press Pool Credentials.

Sentencing has been set for March 5th, 2019.
