Natural Gas Odor Causes Columbia Smithton Middle School Evacuation

All students at the Smithton Middle School in Columbia are reportedly safe after an evacuation this (Thursday) morning.

Emergency responded to a report of a possible gas odor around 9 this (Thursday) morning. Parents were notified of the situation through text message.

Officials gave the all clear, and students returned to class within 15 minutes.
