Meat Truck Overturns On I-70 In Montgomery County

I-70 in Montgomery County is reopened after a meat truck overturned causing a delay for about two hours last (Monday) night.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened just before 7 around mile marker 171 near Danville.

A tractor trailer that was carrying 41,000 pounds of meat flipped over in the westbound lanes.

Troopers say the driver was not hurt.

Crews shut down the right lane of westbound I-70 as they worked to remove the semi.
