Bayer Moving Five Hundred Jobs To St. Louis Area

Over 500 jobs are moving from North Carolina to St. Louis.

Governor Mike Parson announced yesterday (Tuesday) that the Bayer Company is closing its crop science division headquarters in North Carolina and moving the jobs to Creve Coeur.

Bayer will get over forty four million dollars in Missouri economic development incentives from the move it it meets job and investment promises.

The company has agreed to 164 million dollars in capital investments, and is pledging to keep forty four hundred jobs in Missouri.
