Three Boonville Firefighters Injured Where Building Collapsed

Three Boonville firefighters are recovering from injuries they suffered while battling a blaze last (Wednesday) night.

The fire happened just before 8 and caused a building in Boonville on Main and Chestnut to collapse.

According to a spokesperson from the Boonville Fire Department 2 of the firefighters were hurt when the building collapsed, and a third man suffered heat exhaustion.

All 3 taken to a local hospital.

An investigation into the fire is ongoing however the fire is believed to be electrical in nature.
