TWO ARRESTS MADE IN CONNECTION WITH BOMB THREAT AT MARK TWAIN HIGH SCHOOL

Two people are being charged with making a false bomb report and have been arrested in connection with the bomb threat earlier this week at the Mark Twain High School.

According to the Ralls County Sheriff’s Department an 18 year old man from Quincy, Illinois and a 15 year old juvenile from New London have been arrested.

Police responded to the Mark Twain High School on Highway 19 for a reported bomb threat on Monday, where it was determined the threat was a hoax, and all students and staff were evacuated safely.

The investigation is continuing.
