Columbia Police have confirmed a 20 year old that was shot on Saturday night has died.
Emergency services were called to the 1500 block of Rolling Rock Drive and transported the man to the hospital.
Columbia Police say the circumstances leading up to the man obtaining the gunshot wound is still unclear.
Detectives are working this case as a death investigation. All steps reasonably possible to preserve the scene and evidence associated have been taken. Detectives will continue to follow up with witnesses and investigate leads as they are received.
