Three burglaries in Cole County on Monday have lead to the arrest of two people and an investigation is continuing.
According to the Cole County Sheriff’s Department the first burglary was at the 6700 block of Loesch Road the second was in the 5500 block of Buffalo Road and the last was in the 5200 block of Route D.
A vehicle stop resulted in the arrest of 2 people in connection with the burglaries and the recovery of stolen items.
The department reports that an investigation has led to three cars being impounded and one search warrant served, and it is still a very active case.
