MISSOURI SUPREME COURT TO HEAR HEALEA CASE

The Missouri Supreme Court is granting a hearing in the Shayne Healea case at the request of the attorney general’s office.

Healea, is the Moniteau County prosecutor facing felony charges of assault and leaving the scene of an accident in Columbia in October of 2014.

The attorney general’s office claims the court of appeals went too far when they kicked them off the case due to mishandling some evidence.

A date for the hearing has not yet been set.
