Over 1600 patients of an Ashland Health Care Clinic are being notified that its office has recently experienced a security breach.
According from a press release from Namaste Health Care who owns the clinic the incident happened over the weekend of August 12th through the 13th, where a cyber attacker launched a ransom ware virus attack on the file share server.
They are unable to confirm whether the attacker may have viewed information contained on that file server but is acting out of caution.
Letters were sent out to the affected individuals last week and a toll free number has been set up for questions.
