A suspect in the burglary of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Holts Summit is in custody and items from the burglary have been recovered.
According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department an arrest was made yesterday (Tuesday),
after a joint investigation with the Holts Summit Police Department, the Cole County Sheriff’s Office and the Jefferson City Police Department.
The church reported copper wire, power tools and a furnace were stolen from a construction site last week where they are building a new sanctuary.
The investigation is still ongoing and more details will be released soon.
