A man and woman are facing multiple charges after taking Boone County Deputies on a foot and car chase.
According to the sheriff’s department it happened Tuesday night around 10 when deputies tried to make a traffic stop.
Deputies say the driver refused to stop and continued on west I-70 into Cooper County and when the vehicle was disabled both occupants fled on foot.
Deputies arrested 37 year old Jose De Los Dios, and 27 year old Lesli Ramirez both of Kansas City.
charges include felony possession of a controlled substance, felony resisting arrest. A bond has not yet been set.
