SEDALIA SCHOOLS ON ALERT AFTER THREATENING SOCIAL MEDIA POST

The Sedalia Smith-Cotton High School is on high alert this morning after a threat was posted on social media yesterday (Wednesday).

The threat was posted on the social media site Sarahah, and read that the anonymous person would shoot up the high school with pistols, and warned that students better not be at school tomorrow.

The school district announced that local police are prepared to support their schools this (Thursday) morning and families are be encouraged to follow their usual routines.
