More details are being released about the shooting in the 4200 block of Bethany Drive in Columbia last (Wednesday) night.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department the victim was a 17 year old male who sustained non-life threatening gunshot wound to the head.
Witnesses told deputies that the teen was wounded by a gunshot fired from outside the resident through a window in the living room of the house.
The investigation is continuing.
