A Columbia man is facing weapons, assault, and drug charges after an arrest by the Boone County Sheriff’s Department this (Wednesday).
Deputies report the incident happened in the 100 block of Moonglow Lane in the Sunrise Estates Subdivision east of Columbia where multiple gunshots were heard.
61 year old Thomas J. Hayden was arrested and taken to the Boone County Detention Center after deputies determined he had been in an argument with a 26 year old male.
According to the department they also recovered a substance believed to be meth from the man.
No reports of injuries or property damage.
