A Columbia man is dead after being hit by a car in the area of Keene Street and Beerywood Drive last (Tuesday) night.
According to police it happened around 8:30 when 36 year old Anthony Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri was heading south in his vehicle on Keene Street near Berrywood Drive, and hit 60 year old Donald Wayne Meyer who was in the roadway.
Meyer was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
An investigation is continuing.
