A deer in the road is to blame for a one car accident in Cole County early this (Thursday) morning.
The highway patrol reports 20 year old Jacob T. Wolken was on westbound U.S. 50 at Marina Road when he swerved to miss a deer, and became airborne and hit the ground rolling over.
Wolken was taken to the Captial Region Medical Center.
