A Mexico teen is recovering from injuries after being by a car last (Sunday) night.
According to Mexico Public Safety it just before 6:20 last (Sunday) night in the area of Monroe and Western when a 14 year old female was crossing the street and ran into a 2008 Hyundai driven by 30 year old Cheryl Johnston of Centralia who was turning through the intersection.
Johnston was not injured.
The teen complained of pain in her knee and her mother took her for medical attention on their own.
