CALIFORNIA MAN FOUND GUILTY IN CONSPIRACY TO DISTRIBUTE METH IN COLUMBIA

A California man is found guilty by a jury in Jefferson City yesterday (Wednesday) for his role in a conspiracy to distribute meth that was shipped to Columbia, Missouri through the mail.

According to court records 25 year old Dijon Rasheed Brown was found guilty of participating in a conspiracy to distribute meth, possessing meth with the intent to distribute and being a felon in a possession of a firearm.

The incident took place in November of 2015, federal agents recovered over 400 grams of pure methamphetamine, valued at more than eleven thousand dollars from the parcel inside of a hollowed out book.

A sentencing hearing has not yet been scheduled.
