A thirty year old man is recovering from injuries he suffered during a strong arm robbery in Columbia early this (Tuesday) morning.
According to Columbia Police the man was found screaming in an alley at the 200 block of Hitt Street around 3:17 this (Tuesday) morning.
Police report the victim was hit multiple times by a suspect who retrieved his property before leaving the area.
The suspect is described as a black male who was last seen wearing dark colored clothing.
