The Audrain County Health Department now owns the deed to their building after paying it off at the beginning of this (November) month.
Health Department Administrator Sandra Hewlett presented the board of directors the deed at a meeting last (Wednesday) night.
Hewlett says the department took significant budget cutting measure to be able to pay off the facility. A lease purchase agreement was established in May of 2013.
